As part of my community internship with TRY NGO (www.tryngo.in), I had the privilege of working closely with children from underprivileged communities and engaging in meaningful social work activities. TRY NGO is a non-profit organization dedicated to grassroots-level social development, focusing on education, awareness, and community empowerment. This NGO internship provided me with a platform to contribute while also learning essential life skills and gaining practical exposure in the field of social work. My Role During the NGO Internship During my internship, I was actively involved in multiple activities aimed at promoting education, awareness, and holistic development among children. My responsibilities included: Through direct observation, interaction with children, and collaboration with NGO staff, I was able to understand the learning environment and challenges faced by the community. Key Learnings from Field Work One of the most important aspects of this social work internship was the hands-on learning experience. 1.
